Start of Training 2026: Gruma Welcomes 25 New Apprentices in Five Professions

The largest group consists of 15 prospective agricultural and construction machinery mechatronics technicians. In addition, three trainees each are starting their careers as wholesale and foreign trade management clerks, as well as office management clerks. Two young professionals are completing the Abitur program to become a trade specialist, and another trainee is starting as an IT specialist for system integration.

Joint Start at the Headquarters

The first training week is spent by the five female and twenty male apprentices together at the headquarters in Friedberg-Derching. There, they gain insights into the corporate group, meet important contacts, and have the opportunity to connect during joint activities and team events. Obtaining the forklift license is also a fixed part of the program. After the introductory week, 14 apprentices will be placed at the main location. The other trainees are distributed across the branches in Garching near Munich, Egg an der Günz, and Lauingen, as well as the recently acquired agricultural technology centers Alfred Wirth GmbH and Rieser Agrartechnik GmbH.
