Logimat stays in Stuttgart: Contract extension until 2031 signed

Euroexpo Messe- und Kongress-GmbH and Messe Stuttgart have extended their long-standing partnership for another five years. As a result, Logimat will remain at the Stuttgart location until at least 2031. The agreement underscores the importance of Logimat for the logistics industry and for the trade fair location Stuttgart.

Since its debut in 2003, the event has continuously evolved. Today, it brings together companies from the entire value chain of intralogistics with professional visitors from industry, trade, and the service economy. The focus is on current solutions and technologies for efficient, connected, and future-proof logistics processes. In 2027, Logimat will celebrate its 25th anniversary at the Stuttgart location.

The location offers excellent conditions

"Logimat is one of the most important events in our portfolio. We are therefore very pleased to be able to continue the successful cooperation with Messe Stuttgart and to offer the industry a powerful platform in the future," says Christoph Huss, Managing Director of Euroexpo Messe- und Kongress-GmbH. "The location Stuttgart offers excellent conditions for this - both with its modern infrastructure and its excellent accessibility and proximity to numerous important industrial and technology locations."

Michael Ruchty, Exhibition Director of Logimat in Stuttgart, adds: "Logimat thrives on the close exchange between exhibiting companies, trade visitors, and numerous industry experts. Our aim is to continuously further develop Logimat in the coming years and to expand its importance as a leading platform for innovations, trends, and concrete solutions along the logistical process chain."

Logimat 2026 Achieves Top Marks The significance of Logimat has now become evident, as demonstrated by the event in March 2026. According to the organizer, the trade fair achieved new top marks in the number of exhibiting companies, net exhibition space, the degree of internationalization, and the number of professional visitors. Over the three days of the fair, a total of 69,856 professional visitors came to the Stuttgart exhibition center. This confirmed Logimat's role as a central meeting point for the international logistics and intralogistics industry. The event provides room for personal exchange, the presentation of new technologies, and the transfer of knowledge on topics that currently particularly occupy companies – including the further digitalization of logistics processes, automation, efficient material flows, and the increasing demands for resilient supply chains.

Important Meeting Point for the Logistics Industry

“The extended collaboration with Euroexpo is a strong sign of the trust and shared success we have achieved in Stuttgart over the past decades. The international collaboration around Logimat China also demonstrates how successfully the partnership has developed,” says Stefan Lohnert, Managing Director of Messe Stuttgart. “Logimat has established itself as an important meeting point for the logistics industry. We are proud to continue shaping this pioneering event with our partner at the Stuttgart exhibition center and actively accompany its development.”

For Messe Stuttgart, the extension is also a confirmation of its position as a capable location for international trade fairs with high industry relevance. The exhibition center offers optimal conditions for an event of international scope with its multifunctional halls, modern infrastructure, and direct connection to the airport, highway, and public transport.

The next Logimat will take place from March 16 to 18, 2027, at the Stuttgart exhibition center-
