Interview: "VDA 5050 as a Common Language"

Constantin Enke: Certainly, I have been working for five years as a research associate at the Institute for Materials Handling and Logistics Systems at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. There I conduct research on mixed fleets of mobile robots and lead the technical development of VDA 5050.

There we are, right in the middle of the topic – well, of your topic.

(laughs) Yes, although the VDA 5050 is neither my invention nor that of the KIT. It is a joint initiative by VDA and VDMA. KIT coordinates the technical development.
