CVS Ferrari builds dealer network with GS Forklift Service

CVS Ferrari Germany is expanding its sales structure and relying on an external trading partner in the DACH region for the first time. Starting the initiative is GS-Gabelstapler Service GmbH from Wolfenbüttel. The company will take over the sales and customer service for heavy-duty forklifts and container handling technology in parts of Lower Saxony and the Harz region. The dealer network announced in October 2026 is intended to complement the existing factory representation of the Italian manufacturer CVS Ferrari and will be gradually expanded.

The new distribution partner has been serving customers in intralogistics for more than 45 years. The existing business area of GS-Gabelstapler Service extends from Hanover to Helmstedt, from Celle to Göttingen, and across the entire Harz region. The company will now also take over this region for the distribution of CVS Ferrari vehicles. The range of services includes the sale of new and used forklifts, as well as service and spare parts supply. In addition, GS offers financing through leasing and hire purchase. First CVS heavy-duty forklifts are expected to be added to the existing fleet shortly for rental and customer demonstrations.

Vehicle Program for Heavy Duty and Container Handling

The product portfolio of CVS Ferrari includes vehicles for port logistics, industry, and heavy-duty sectors. This includes reachstackers for handling empty and full containers, capable of stacking containers up to six layers high.

For use in empty container depots and port facilities, the manufacturer also offers mast equipment that can reach stacking heights of up to eight layers. Certain versions can accommodate two containers simultaneously.

In the sector of heavy-duty forklifts, the program includes vehicles with load capacities ranging from 16 to 52 tons. The offering is complemented by terminal tractors available with 4x2 or 4x4 drive.

Electric Drives for Terminal Operations

In addition to conventionally powered vehicles, CVS Ferrari also offers electrically powered empty container handlers and terminal tractors. These models are intended to support users particularly in meeting the increasing requirements for emissions and noise levels in port and terminal operations.

Through collaboration with GS Forklift Service, the vehicle program will also be distributed through a regional trading partner in the future. This partner will assume responsibilities for sales consulting as well as customer support and technical service.

Gradual Expansion of Dealer Network Planned

According to CVS Ferrari Germany, the partnership with GS Forklift Service marks the beginning of building an external dealer network in the DACH region. The goal is to complement the existing factory representation with additional regional sales and service capacities.
