Seamless Integration of the New High-Bay Warehouse with SAP EWM MFS
A central component of the project is the new fully automated high-bay warehouse at the Baden site. It features eight aisles and approximately 26,000 pallet spaces and is a significant expansion of the existing logistics infrastructure. For seamless integration, SAP EWM including MFS (Material Flow System) is used. The WMS and WCS solution enables direct communication with the automation's PLC controls, eliminating the need for additional middleware. This architecture creates a continuous end-to-end SAP system landscape.
