Vahle welcomes 14 new trainees: New class starts in nine occupational fields

The Paul Vahle GmbH & Co. KG welcomed 14 new trainees to its Kamen site on August 26, 2026. The young professionals will first undergo a four-day introductory program before beginning their training in nine different occupations. These include the areas of Technical Product Design, Electronics for Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing and Machining Mechanics, as well as IT for Application Development. The new cohort also includes aspiring industrial clerks, a warehouse specialist, and an industrial electrician for devices and systems. One young talent is beginning a dual study program in IT for System Integration. During the introduction days, the new employees will get to know the company, the training process, their rights and responsibilities, as well as their future colleagues.

Multi-day Introduction Program PlannedFor a successful start, the Kamener system provider is organizing a multi-day introduction program again this year. The official welcome by training manager Kathrina Adelsberger, the trainers, and management member COO Henning Stelte marked the beginning. The new trainees then received an introduction to the company's history and structure. The focus during the shared lunch was on getting to know each other. The first day concluded with instructions on workplace safety and fire protection. In the following days, the trainees can expect a varied program including a company rally, an etiquette guide for apprentices, information on their rights and duties during the training, subject-specific introductions by the trainers, and an introduction to the IT systems.

Start of Training with Diversity and Team Spirit

The new Vahle training cohort is composed of three prospective industrial clerks, three manufacturing mechanics, two electronics technicians for industrial engineering, and one trainee each in the apprenticeship professions of technical product designer, warehouse specialist, industrial electrician for devices and systems, cutting machine operator, and IT specialist for application development. Additionally, there is a dual student in the field of IT specializing in system integration.

A special highlight of the introductory phase is the annual apprentice excursion on September 1st: then, apprentices from all cohorts meet in the Schwerte climbing park to exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere and grow together as a team. "The excursion is a highlight every year that our apprentices like to remember. It promotes collaboration and eases the entry into an exciting time," says Adelsberger.
