The "X40" features an integrated UHF RFID reader that reads up to 50 RFID tags per second from a distance of up to 1.2 meters. The "Impinj Gen2X" technology simplifies baggage scans, passenger checks, and personnel management, among other things. The flexible triple-side NFC functionality enables fast, secure payments from any angle, ID checks, and card emulation.

The modern scan camera is equipped with a TOF sensor and ARCore, which accelerate autofocus and enable the reliable reading of multiple barcodes simultaneously. The 50 MP rear camera and the 8 MP front camera also provide detailed images for documentation. "X40" features a 6.11-inch AMOLED display. Barcode scanning is performed using the side buttons. The 4,320 mAh battery has a fast-charging function and can be swapped with warm swappable batteries during operation. The robust design meets the IP68 protection standard for dust and underwater submersion. Additionally, "X40" is designed for drops from up to 1.5 meters in height. It is suitable for temperatures from -20 degrees Celsius to 50 degrees Celsius.

The "X40" is also equipped with a 2.7-Ghz QC6490 CPU from Qualcomm, 6 gigabytes of RAM, 128 gigabytes of device storage, Android, and integrated AI. Users can verify their identity via fingerprint and facial recognition, while administrators can centrally manage a wide range of devices regardless of the OS. Lost devices can also be quickly located thanks to ultra-wideband positioning (UWB), even with a drained battery.
