Torwegge presents plastic roller "Leo" with a load capacity of up to 130 kilograms

Torwegge is expanding its range of components for material flow with the "Leo" roller. According to the company, the tread made of glass fiber-reinforced polyurethane is low-noise and gentle on floors. The roller is designed for loads of up to 130 kilograms. Sealed ball bearings and components made of galvanized metal or stainless steel are also intended to increase corrosion resistance and enable outdoor use.

"The 'Leo-Roll' combines strength and durability – qualities we associate with the lion. The name 'Leo' picks up on this symbolism and describes a series of rollers that combine high load capacity with robustness against moisture and splashing water," says Thomas Otto, Managing Director of Torwegge GmbH & Co. KG.

Two Variants for Different Environmental Conditions

The roller diameter is 100 millimeters. The new series is available in two variants: "Leo Basic" is equipped with galvanized steel components (ball bearings, screws, and nuts), and "Leo Pro" with stainless steel components. Thus, the Basic variant is splash water resistant, while the Pro version is moisture resistant and can also be used outdoors. The ball bearings are sealed in both versions, and both roller variants are equipped with thread protection. Due to its composition of polyurethane, galvanized steel, and stainless steel, the product is fully recyclable.

Use in Logistics, Industry, and Trade

The new series of rollers can be used in a variety of applications in logistics, industry, and trade. From a quantity of 2,000, Torwegge customers can order the "Leo Roll" with their own logo and in an individualized color scheme.
