From October 14 to 15, Heitec AG intends to present its offerings for retrofit and modernization of existing facilities at Maintenance 2026 in Munich. In addition to the modernization of hardware and software, key topics include safety evaluation of plant modifications, cybersecurity requirements, and virtual models for pre-commissioning tests. The offering is aimed, among others, at companies in mechanical and plant engineering, special machinery construction, and intralogistics.

According to the company, the device features a large safety area, short response times, and high angular resolution. The scanner is intended to contribute to the safety of machines and plants while reducing operating costs.
