Köberlein Technologies showcases feeding technology and bin picking at Motek 2026

At the trade fair stand, the company will demonstrate from October 6 to 8, 2026, how classical feeding technologies can be combined with modern automation concepts. The focus will be on applications that represent various component handling tasks in series processes.

Bin Picking meets classic feeding technology

For example, a bin-picking cell is presented in combination with classic feeding or anyfeeder technology. The solution combines the detection and grasping of randomly provided parts with the controlled separation and handover through proven feeding systems. This brings together different technologies in one application.

Köberlein Technologies showcases the anyfeeder technology using the example of feeding a multitool. The "Best Buddy" is first fed from a bulk container via a step conveyor. Subsequently, pre-orientation or pre-sorting is carried out over a linear track. The components then reach a camera-supported conveyor belt with conveyor tracking. A camera detects the position of the multitools, while a robot grabs the parts and places them onto a rotary indexing table.

Additionally, Köberlein Technologies demonstrates a bin-picking application with 3D image processing. A 3D camera from Keyence detects the position of small cans filled with glucose in a crate. A robot removes the containers and also places them on a rotary indexing table. On request, a can or a multitool can be provided as a giveaway through an output chute.

New Company Name within the Daum Group

The new company name is intended to make the role of Köberlein Technologies and Köberlein Solutions within the Daum Group more evident. The group forms a common foundation for specialized companies with different technological focuses. While Köberlein Technologies focuses on the development of traditional feeding technology to interfaces in automated and digitalized production environments, the sister company Köberlein Solutions complements the portfolio in the field of automation.

Köberlein Solutions concentrates on the design, planning, and implementation of comprehensive automation solutions. This includes, among other things, robotics, system integration, and the connection of engineering with specific production requirements. Through the collaboration of both companies, projects can be considered from feeding technology to overarching automation.
