Igus expands its system business with the acquisition of Krott Electronic
Whether shore power supply for ships or charging infrastructure for heavy vehicles and machinery: Robust systems are in demand that reliably transmit high power and are simultaneously flexible in use. To be able to offer customers even more targeted individual system solutions for demanding applications in shore power supply, charging infrastructure, and other specialized industrial sectors in the future, Igus will take over Krott Electronic GmbH on October 1, 2026. The company from Stolberg specializes in customized connection technology for industrial niche applications.
